Russia and Iran do not have enough resources: Podolyak on the likelihood of a global conflict

by alex

The resources of Russia, Iran and North Korea are not enough for a global military confrontation with democratic states.

This opinion was expressed by Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mikhail Podolyak in a commentary to host Yana Brenzei on the air of the United News telethon.

Thus, he commented on the ongoing full-scale aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and the attack of Hamas militants on Israel.

– There will be no global conflict, because the resource capabilities of the Russian Federation, Iran, together with North Korea are not comparable to the technological ones and the armed capabilities of democratic countries. These are generally incompatible things,” Podolyak emphasized.

At the same time, he drew attention to the fact that dictatorships like Russia are more aggressive in foreign policy, since “these are gopniks, they always aggressive”.

Podolyak does not agree with the assumptions that the Russian Federation has the ability to maintain a long war.

– It is nonsense to say that Russia can withstand some kind of long war, which is constantly talked about today. That the Russian Federation can be the initiator of any other global changes and the like – no, — The adviser to the head of the educational organization is convinced.

He added that in this situation, Western elites must abandon opinions about returning to the “pre-war time”, that is, to the realities that existed before the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation in Ukraine.

– In history There are periods when you need to make tough decisions for yourself… We must end the era of information, propaganda or diplomatic dominance of the Russian Federation. “I’m not even talking about the military component and the like,” Podolyak explained.

According to him, for this it is necessary to “provide Ukraine with the opportunity to bring this war to the end.” According to Podolyak, the West must “accept for itself the concept that the Russian Federation knows how to lose, can and must lose”.
