A total of 39 parties and 19 national minority organizations took part in the elections. This was reported by Digi24, reports 24 Channel. Which party is the leader in the number of votes As of 07:00 on December 2, after counting 99% of the votes, the Social Democratic Party is in the lead with 22.74% of the votes. In second place is the far-right party Alliance for the Unification of Romanians (AUR) with 18.14% of the votes. It is worth noting that the Social Democratic Party is the ruling Romanian party. Its representative Marcel Ciolacu holds the post of Prime Minister of the country. Last week, Ciolacu did not make it to the second round of the presidential elections, although the poll before the vote gave him the lead. But AUR is an opposition far-right alliance, which demonstrates pronounced anti-Ukrainian sentiments. The party is headed by George Simion. The National Liberal Party (PNL), which is the Social Democrats' coalition partner, received 14.44% of the vote, while the opposition Union for the Salvation of Romania (USR) received 11.96%. It should be noted that the Union for the Salvation is headed by pro-Western oppositionist Elena Lasconi. She came in second in the presidential elections and will compete in the second round against the far-right and pro-Russian politician Kelin Georgescu. Two far-right groups, S.O.S. Romania and POT, received 7.6% and 6.3% of the votes respectively, while the ethnic Hungarian party UDMR received 6.5%. Presidential elections were held in Romania on November 24. None of the candidates managed to get more than 50% of the votes, so a second round will be held. The largest number of voters, namely 22.83%, voted for the far-right and pro-Russian politician Kelin Georgescu. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail alex previous post How Much Longer Does Russia Plan to Fight: National Security and Defense Council Forecast next post Fans are delighted: a promo video for the Usyk-Fury rematch has appeared You may also like Peaceful chants on the streets and arrests of... 05.12.2024 UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson Killed in New York 05.12.2024 What else can the DPRK give to Russia... 05.12.2024 The French government has been dismissed: what is... 05.12.2024 Wife's Corruption Suspected and Lawbreaking: What Was the... 04.12.2024 Without Svitolina yet: where Ukraine's top tennis players... 04.12.2024 Putin was preparing a surprise: the media revealed... 04.12.2024 Georgian Army: Number and Place in World Rankings 04.12.2024 It's Not That Simple: Why Erdogan Isn't Fully... 04.12.2024 Awaiting Trump's Inauguration: Latvian Foreign Minister on Inviting... 04.12.2024 Leave a Comment Cancel Reply Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment.
