Romania recorded two earthquakes in one day: what is known

On Sunday, November 24, seismologists recorded two earthquakes in Romania.

This was reported on the website of the National Institute for the Study of Geophysics (INCDFP) of Romania.

Two earthquakes recorded in one day in Romania

The first earthquake with a magnitude of 4.1 occurred at 07:16 in the Vrancea seismic zone.

The tremor occurred at a depth of 128 km.

A second earthquake with a slightly smaller magnitude of 3.5 was recorded at 08:43 at a depth of 64.5 km.

There is no information about casualties or damage as a result of the tremors in Romania.

Vrancea Zone — This is a seismically active zone located at the junction of the Southern, Romanian and Eastern Ukrainian Carpathians, in the Vrancea County in Romania.

Recall that on September 16, an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 occurred in Romania at 17:40 Kyiv time. Then the tremors were also felt in Ukraine, in particular, in Odessa.
