Romania and the United States will involve Ukraine in exercises in the Black Sea and the Danube Delta

The Romanian and US navies are organizing multinational exercises in the Black Sea and the Danube Delta. Ukraine was also invited to join them.

The countries plan to establish cooperation in the fight against explosive objects that interfere with ships. The necessary equipment will be provided directly by Romania and the United States.

Details of the multinational exercises

The Romanian Navy, together with the United States, will conduct training in the Black Sea and the Danube Delta from September 11 to 15. They were called “Sea Breeze 23.3”. Military personnel from Bulgaria, France, Great Britain, Turkey and Ukraine were also invited to take part in the exercises.

The countries plan to establish operational and tactical cooperation in the field of combating explosive devices in order to ensure freedom of navigation. In particular, this applies to drifting sea mines.

Romania will provide the maritime dredger Sublocotenent Alexandru Axente, the fast diving vessel Venus, the armored boat Posada, three amphibious armored personnel carriers, assault boats and other watercraft, as well as bomb disposal specialists, marines and staff officers for training.

From the US side, a Poseidon maritime patrol and reconnaissance aircraft, divers-sappers with boats and special equipment will be sent for testing. Other participating countries will include divers, bomb disposal experts and staff officers.

Navy continues to destroy the enemy

• Military -naval forces recently destroyed the Russian boat “Tuna”. The occupiers tried to land ashore for rotation, but they failed.
• On September 6, Navy fighters managed to destroy 2 boats and 17 enemy drones. In total, the Russian army lost 24 infidels.
• Ukraine has already disabled at least 5 enemy ships of the Black Sea Fleet. The Navy said that Russia no longer has the ability to replenish its fleet.
