Volodymyr Kudrytsky, the head of Ukrenergo, announced this on the air of United News. in most areas, it was possible to completely or almost completely restore electricity supply. Restoration work continues in five more regions. The head of Ukrenergo noted that where the destruction is the greatest, a little more time is needed to restore.
We expect that in the coming hours and days we will be able to restore a reliable energy supply for everyone consumers, – said Vladimir Kudritsky.
He also warned that rolling blackouts could continue over the next few days. This is to enable repair crews working around the clock to restore the power grid and provide reliable power as soon as possible.
Controlled consumption restrictions will be temporary. According to Kudritsky, “a few hours, no more”. They will be carried out in full coordination with the dispatchers of Ukrenergo: “This is an absolutely stable and safe process for the energy system, designed to maintain a balance in the energy system and speed up the restoration of electricity networks.”
