A little more information was provided by the mayor of Ternopil Serhiy Nadal. Although he did not confirm the information about the missile attack, he noticed that enemy shells could have been fired from the sea.Vladimir Shmatko, the mayor of Chertkov himself, asked the townspeople not to leave their shelters during the alarm.
Windows were broken in the houses, and the gas was turned off in the city

An hour later, at 23:01, additional information appeared from the head of the OVA. He urged to trust only official sources. The head added that specialists are now working on the scene, so they cannot provide much information yet.
Note that as of 23:00 there was no information about the victims of the enemy attack.
A quarter of an hour later Vladimir Trush announced disconnection of gas supplies to Chortkiv.He noted that it will be resumed when it is possible to eliminate the consequences of the explosion in the city.
As for the consequences of the strike, it is known about partial destruction of a military facility, as well as 4 houses in Chortkiv. This was told by the head of the OVA Vladimir Trush. In total, the Russians fired 4 missiles from the Black Sea into the city.
Several dozen people were injured as a result of an enemy attack
On the morning of June 12, Vladimir Trush shared additional information. It concerned the victims of a missile attack. As he noted, there were no casualties. But some people had to be taken to the hospital, in particular – children.
Later, during a briefing, he noted that 22 people were injured from an enemy strike. Among them are 7 women and a 12-year-old girl. Fortunately, there were no seriously injured. And 10 ambulances promptly arrived at the scene.

Gas supplies to Chortkiv will be resumed by the evening of 12 June
The head of the OVA announced this during a briefing. He also noted that they were forced to cut off gas in the city. This was done because one of the enemy's missiles hit the gas pipeline. As a result, there was a gas leak and fire.
The head of the State Emergency Service, Viktor Masley, noted that firefighters managed to put out the fire at night. He also added that rescuers were searching for people at night. In particular, two children were pulled out from under the rubble. The operation was stopped only at the moment when they were convinced that they had found everyone who could be under the rubble.
There were no weapons at the object attacked by the invaders
The head of the police in the Ternopil region, Alexander Bogomol, commented on the missile hit. He stressed that there was not a single weapon at the facility that the infidels had hit.
Therefore, law enforcement officers are convinced that it was a blow to the destruction of the civilian population. And the main goal of the enemy, Bogomol is convinced that it will demoralize both the personnel and the population.
At the same time, Vladimir Trush denied the fake about the alleged mass departure of residents from Chertkov. He stressed that he visited various facilities in Chortkiv with representatives of the OVA. And no one began to leave the city after the enemy strikes.
