On May 8, an accident occurred in Cherkasy in which a MAN fire truck drove into a trolleybus with passengers.
The accident happened at the intersection of Shevchenko Boulevard and Heavenly Hundred Street
As a result, a passenger electric vehicle drove onto the sidewalk, simultaneously damaging five cars.
Now watching
Trolleybus passengers were among the victims: a 61-year-old woman and a minor girl.
Both were hospitalized in medical institutions to receive medical help.
Hromadske’s journalists previously reported 14 victims, including three children.
However, later the National Police indicated that the remaining participants in the accident escaped with a slight fright and refused hospitalization.
Accident in Cherkassy — the police opened a case
— Law enforcement officers have documented the accident and are conducting a pre-trial investigation into violation of road safety rules, Part 1 of Art. 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, — indicated to the press service of the National Police.
