Riots will intensify: ISW explained why the militants will not like the consequences of the “referendums”

For several days, the whole world watched the show that the Russians decided to put on in the temporarily occupied territories. Even militants may not like the results of the “referenda”.

Analysts from the Institute for the Study of War are convinced of this. They noticed that the results of the pseudo-referendums could only increase the rebellious moods within the pseudo-republic. Let's tell you what could be causing this.

Tension in the pseudo-republics will grow

According to the authors of the report, the annexation of Donetsk and Luhansk will have an extremely negative impact on the pseudo-republics. And this is connected with the fact that they have already demonstrated rebellious moods. Especially in those cases when it was necessary to go to fight for another pseudo-republic. They say that militants are ready to die for their own, but not for others.

At the same time, the leader of the “DPR” militants Pushilin continues to creep under Putin. On September 27, he announced that the forces of the pseudo-republic would be deployed along the entire line of confrontation. Like, they are practically part of Russia, so they should fight on an equal footing.

Recall that in the “LPR” protests of native military men regularly take place,who are sent to fight either on the territory of the “DPR” or in other regions. They emphasize that their fighters should only defend their own land, and not die on “foreign”. This, by the way, is yet another demonstration of the “fraternal peoples” that Russia has been feeding for decades.

The occupiers draw exorbitant figures

The Russian leadership resembles schoolchildren who clumsily cheat. Instead of submitting at least a crumb of data close to reality, enemies are all trying to pull it out almost to 100%.

Yes, on the afternoon of September 27, the head of the Luhansk OVA Serhiy Gaidai spoke about the “referendum” in the region. On the last day of voting, the infidels counted the turnout at 90%. But that's not all. The Russians called the mythical figure of a million voters. The latter especially angered the head of the UVA, because he knows that in the recently occupied territories it is impossible to count such an insane number of “voters”.

The results of the “referendums” are impressive

At the end of the day on September 27, the Russian media were already boasting about the results of the “referenda”. The “election commissions” work there with such lightning speed that it was not even necessary to wait a day. Recall also that the “will” lasted from 23 to 27 September. Consequently, the infidels claim an unprecedented 97% of the vote supporting entry into Russia. The votes were distributed as follows:

  • “DPR” – 99.23%;
  • “LPR” – 98.42%;
  • occupied part of the Zaporozhye region – 93.11%;
  • the occupied Kherson region – 87.05%.

True, it is the announcement of joining Russia that will be somewhat postponed. This “good news” was supposed to be provided to the population of the aggressor country on September 30, but changed his mind.
