Ukrainian soldiers continue to heroically defend their native land from the bloody Russian aggressor and bring our victory closer.
The Minister of Defense is convinced that Russia's war against Ukraine can end as early as 2023. Alexei Reznikov said this in an interview.
The head of the defense department noted that he is an optimist and sees the situation on the battlefield.
There is a chance that this war will end in our victory this year. I seriously think about it, I know a lot, and it inspires me with optimism. An optimist is an informed realist,” Reznikov emphasized.
The head of the Defense Ministry also stressed that our state would never negotiate with Vladimir Putin. “Ukraine is ready to negotiate reparations, an international tribunal and responsibility for the Kremlin's war crimes, the so-called Nuremberg-2,” Reznikov summed up.
What exactly hinders the victory of Ukraine
During a joint press conference with the President of Latvia in Lvov on March 3, Volodymyr Zelensky named one of the main reasons hindering Ukraine's victory.
The head of state noted that Russia can still produce weapons. In addition, there are countries, in particular in the European Union, which are still “not ready to act powerfully.” They find compromises for the aggressor state in sanctions steps. Zelensky noted that this makes it impossible for a quick victory over Russia.
The President stressed that our state and partners must do everything to prevent the occupiers from producing the amount of weapons they come to us with.
