Employee of the U.S. secret service and Donald trump
The US secret service has revealed details of the shooting near the White house, where President Donald Trump had to leave the press conference. The corresponding statement posted on Twitter of Department.
It is noted that he was attacked by a 51-year-old man. About six o’clock in the evening he went to the secret service. “The suspect approached the officer and said that he had a weapon. Then the suspect turned aggressively ran towards the officer and motioned to pull an object out of clothes”, — stated in the message.
Then the man stood in the “stand arrow”, apparently, intending to open fire. Not expecting that the officer shot the aggressor and stabbed him in the torso. Then, the suspect provided medical aid and took him to the hospital. After the incident in the U.S. secret service will conduct an internal investigation regarding the actions of the employee.
Earlier it was reported that trump was taken to the Oval office during his speech at the press conference. When he returned, he explained that near the White house the shooting occurred, which was neutralized the assailant. The head of state said that the incident was not related to his person.
