The authorities of the city of Snyatyn in the Carpathian region called on the residents of the community to report the addresses of residence of male internally displaced persons. For this purpose, individual phone numbers were made public in the city council.
In a corresponding message on the Facebook social network, the mayor's office explained this need by the fact that internally displaced men of military age are not very willing to register at local military registration and enlistment offices. Therefore, residents of the community were asked to “legalize and help register” all persons living in their neighborhood.

A report from the Sniatyn City Council says that their community has always been famous for its hospitality and goodwill, so the locals happily provided sheltermany internal migrants. The mayor's office noted that not only relatives and friends, but complete strangers temporarily settled in the houses of the community residents.

We know that we have one law for all, which is why temporarily displaced men are required to register with the military registration and enlistment office and go side by side with our relatives to liberate Ukrainian land from Russian occupiers, the mayor's office said in a statement.
Therefore, Snyatyn City Council is reportedly urging local residents to report addresses of temporarily displaced people living next door to them. It is noted that we are talking about men aged 20 to 60 years.
“Perhaps they need to provide consultations on registration in order to prevent these persons from violating the law due to evasion military duty. It will be fair,” the mayor's office stressed in its message.
Recall that from March 2022, internally displaced men of military age, upon arrival at their place of temporary residence in other regions of Ukraine, must become for military registration at the local military registration and enlistment office. Depending on the area, they legally have from 24 to 72 hours from the moment of arrival.
