Residents of the Luhansk region mobilized by the Russians are preparing to surrender. In particular, they plan to do this after our soldiers break through the enemy’s defensive lines on the Svatovo-Kremennaya line.
This was announced at a briefing by Deputy Chief of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexei Gromov. Channel 24 tells more.
In the event that the Defense Forces of Ukraine break through the defense lines of the Russian occupation troops on the Svatovo-Kremennaya line and, accordingly, transfer hostilities closer to the city of Lugansk, a significant part of the military units of the 2nd Army Corps, especially from among those mobilized in the temporarily occupied territories, plans to surrender to captured, – said Alexei Gromov.
Svatovo – Kreminnaya route under the fire control of our soldiers
- The day before, on January 3, the head of the Lugansk OVA reported that the Svatovo-Kremennaya highway had been under the fire control of our soldiers for more than a day. Sergei Gaidai also stressed that the logistics of the occupiers are now much more complicated. In particular, both because of the “pop” and because of the fire control of the road. Now the invaders have to go “bypass”.
- Near the temporarily occupied Luhansk, there are kilometer-long lines of Russian trucks with shells brought closer to the front line. Then they are loaded onto military KamAZ trucks and further directly to the front.
- Gaidai noted that the Russians are on the verge of a nervous breakdown. They repress the local population of the temporarily occupied territories. They are afraid that people are collaborating with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
