How the Ukrainian military saved the Zmey
The military said that the furry find could not be found immediately after the liberation of Serpentine. At one of the stages of the operation, the island was finally cleared of mines and established full control over it.
After that, our defenders and defenders already got to all corners of the Serpentine – they searched enemy equipment, bomb shelters, and finally reached the main flagpole
strong> . The military shared that the fugitive Russians left their own secret documents and even a flag.
Secret Russian technical documentation was left behind, thrown away, once again confirming the question of escape , which our gunners worked well for. We got to our flagpole, on which the Russian flag hung. We were taught that the banner cannot be left , for us these are holy things. I can’t imagine what the commander would have said to me if I had left my flag during my departure, especially not a military one, but, as they say, a “gesture of good will”. Only cowards run like this . – shared one of the soldiers.
By the way, it was during the installation of the Ukrainian flag on the island that the military noticed a black cat. He miraculously survived hundreds of shelling and bombing, for weeks he ate what he himself managed to shoot himself.
Representatives of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry emphasize that Serpent has become the talisman of the liberated island, and now, together with they will continue to fight for the great victory of our state in the war against Russia.
