On September 14, Tank Forces Day, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny congratulated the tank crews on their professional holiday.

– Our warriors -tankers — This is the reliable armor of the entire Ukrainian people. They always carry out combat missions in extremely difficult conditions. Their professionalism, courage and devotion to the Motherland — “invaluable,” Zaluzhny wrote.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that today tankers are once again celebrating their professional holiday at combat positions, defending their state from the Russian occupiers.

Tank Forces Day used to be celebrated annually on the second Sunday of September, namely September 10. Now it is celebrated on September 14th. Previously, the holiday was called Tankman Day, and after the decree of the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky dated September 9, 2023 — Tank Forces Day.
