Arestovich said that the Russians have significantly increased in the Luhansk region/Collage of Channel 24
Head of the Lugansk OVA Serhiy Gaidai said that this week will be decisive for the development of events in the Luhansk region, so if we hold out until Sunday, it will get easier. However, this is far from a milestone.
Aleksei Arestovich, adviser to the head of the President's Office, reported this to Channel 24. He objected to the words of the head of the Luhansk region, Sergei Gaidai.
Relax early
According to Arestovich, if we analyze all the available data, then the Russians will have enough troops to storm the Luhansk direction for at least another 2-3 weeks. He stressed that the occupiers are stubbornly trying to reach the administrative boundaries of this area.
Relax very early, Sunday is not a borderline, – the adviser noted.
How Arestovich explained that now the Russians are attacking so stubbornly in this direction, since the occupiers have changed their military command. In addition, the invaders were reinforced with fresh forces.
At the same time, the political leadership of Russia is very insistent that the Russians immediately seize the Luhansk region within its administrative limits. So in Moscow they want to finally announce the end of a certain stage of the “operation”.
Russians will continue attacks
According to Arestovich, the Russian will continue to stubbornly attack until they realize that they have missed the opportunity to attack. Or until they reach the borders of the Luhansk region.
Unfortunately, the number of Russian troops that is capable of fulfilling this task has now been concentrated in this direction. They threw 5 – 6 fresh battalions of tactical groups in addition to the already existing forces. – stressed Arestovich.
