40 days have passed since the execution of Ukrainian prisoners of war in Olenivka, Donetsk region. Relatives of the military took to the action in Kyiv.
The wife of the commander of the Azov Regiment, Ekaterina Prokopenko, spoke at the action on September 6. She noted that it is not known where the bodies are, whether there are lists of prisoners and where are the international organizations that should investigate this crime.
“Today we have gathered here to honor the memory of the heroes of “Azov” and Azovstal, who defended Mariupol. I want everyone here to fight for the return of our heroes, for the investigation of this crime. For such a tragedy not to happen, “Prokopenko said.

The world needs to hear
The wife of the Azov commander stressed that the defenders are waiting for their return. They want all their families to join in protecting them and bringing them back.
Please be active. We are not afraid and we are doing everything so that the world can hear us,” Kateryna urged.
The rallies were urged to sign a letter to UN Secretary General António Guterres about Russia's criminal actions and the creation of a monitoring group dealing with Ukrainian prisoners of war. Relatives demand to find out in what conditions the defenders are and whether the occupiers comply with the principles of the Geneva Convention.
