Recommendation of the European Commission to begin accession negotiations for Ukraine
The European Commission recommends starting negotiations for accession to the European Union with Moldova and Ukraine, Ursula von der Leyen said.
In her opinion, Ukraine continues to face great difficulties caused by Russian aggression, and yet carries out great reform even during the war.
Resignation of the Minister of Youth and Sports
The Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine Vadim Gutzeit wrote a letter of resignation. They plan to consider his application in the near future at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, said the head of parliament Ruslan Stefanchuk.
Creation of an electronic register of military personnel
The Verkhovna Rada in the first reading adopted bill No. 10062, which provides for the creation of an electronic register of those liable for military service.

Entrepreneurs who sold spare parts for the MiG-29 were detained
Representatives of the Security Service of Ukraine detained the organizer of illegal traffic and his two accomplices, who were selling components for MiG-29 combat aircraft abroad.
Investigators note that the entrepreneurs tried to illegally sell a batch of spare parts for aircraft engines worth almost UAH 2.5 million to Asian customers. These components were previously stolen from the industrial giant Motor Sich.
Ukraine will receive 100 thousand ammunition from Rheinmetall
The German defense concern Rheinmetall will transfer about 100 thousand ammunition for 120-mm mortars to Ukraine. The company received the corresponding order from the German government.
According to Rheinmetall, the order is worth less than €30 million, which is part of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' recent military assistance package of €400 million. Deliveries should begin soon and last for two years.

British sanctions against Russia
The UK has introduced new sanctions against 29 individuals and organizations operating in the Russian gold, oil and strategic sectors.
Restrictions have been introduced against those who supported Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. They helped the Russian President reduce the impact of sanctions on Russian gold and oil.
