Belarus has developed an alternative solution, despite the contract with the Russians
This is stated in the intelligence report of the British Department of Defense. Belarus has reportedly recently released details of a new, domestically upgraded T-72B main battle tank.
British intelligence notes that Belarus likely developed this alternative solution instead of a modification program under which a Russian contract was contracted. state company “Uralvagonzavod”.
The British Ministry of Defense also drew attention to problems in the Russian defense industry. In particular, intelligence doubts that Russia will fulfill some export orders for armored vehicles.
Russia's problems in Britain are linked to the exceptional demand for armament of its own forces in Ukraine and the growing influence of Western sanctions.
The threat of an offensive from Belarus: what is known
- The self-proclaimed Belarusian authorities provided the territory of Belarus to Russia for the invasion of Ukraine and rocket attacks on Ukrainian cities. Belarus also creates tension in the North of Ukraine.
