President Vladimir Zelensky signed the law on rebooting the Bureau of Economic Security (No. 3840-IX), the adoption of which was one of the structural beacons of the program to allocate $2.2 billion to Ukraine in the fifth tranche under the EFF extended financing program.< /p>

According to the document, the new head of the BEB will be selected by a commission of six members, where half — international experts with voting rights.
The re-certification will be carried out by a commission consisting of six people each from the newly elected director of the BEB and from international partners, but at the suggestion of the Ukrainian business environment.

At the same time, over the next three years, a personnel commission created according to the same scheme will work.
