Ukrainian national team goalkeeper Andrey Lunin is getting closer to leaving Real Madrid.
The Spanish publication AS writes about this, citing its sources.
Lunin understands that Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti's confidence in Thibaut Courtois remains high, the publication writes, despite the Belgian goalkeeper's frequent injuries.

Real can exchange Lunin for Kepa
According to journalists, London Chelsea has been considering the possibility of signing Lunin for several weeks.
— They understand that the deal is difficult (Real valued Lunin at €30 million & #8212; an amount that Chelsea cannot afford), but not impossible. Because they have the key: Kepa. At stake — possible barter with certain nuances, — writes AS.
Journalists noted that in no case would this be a player-for-player exchange, because the price of 25-year-old Lunin is higher than 29-year-old Kepa Arrizabalaga. Players' different athletic forms should also be taken into account.
It is noted that the cream are considering the possibility of agreeing to an exchange, but with an additional payment of a certain amount. How much exactly — unknown. The Ukrainian's current contract with the Madrid club expires in a year.
So far, there has been no official offer from the Blues to Real Madrid. But AS writes that Stamford Bridge is serious about Lunin, although on paper they have several other candidates.
In the 2023/24 season, Lunin played 31 matches, 12 of which kept a clean sheet. Kepa has 20 matches, of which nine — dry.
