Ukraine’s partners are ready to take the next steps, in particular with regard to F-16 fighters.
President Vladimir Zelensky announced this in his evening video message.
He reported that today, on the day of the Naval Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the new ministers of defense and foreign affairs of the Netherlands, as well as the new minister of defense of Britain, visited Odessa. The head of state informed them about the situation on the battlefield, and there was a report from the commander of the Navy, Alexei Neizhpapa.

Today we also talked about strengthening air defense, this is our absolute priority, and I am grateful for the willingness to take the next steps – in particular, on the F-16, — he noted.
The head of state noted that he also held a meeting on the situation in Odessa and the region. The agenda included security, the operation of our transport arteries, energy, and social issues.
Patriot from the Netherlands
During a visit to Ukraine, Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans announced that his country will provide Ukraine with an additional Patriot complex to strengthen air defense.< /p>
For his part, Dutch Foreign Minister Casparo Veldkamp said that his country will allocate 2 million euros for forensic research and identification of bodies.
