Yesterday, April 28, a bridge was blown up near Melitopol, to which the Russian invaders supplied weapons and equipment from the occupied Crimea. Now this infrastructure facility is unusable.

This was announced on Channel 24 by Mayor of Melitopol Ivan Fedorov. He noted that the bridge in the village of Akimovka near Melitopol is not functioning now.

A key infrastructure facility

According to Fedorov, it was one of key infrastructure facilities, through which military equipment was transported from Russia to Melitopol. He stressed that it was intended not only for Melitopol, but also for Mariupol and southern Ukraine.

I hope that the rashists will need a lot of time to restore it. And when we return, we will do it ourselves quickly,” the mayor said.

Fedorov thanked the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Special Operations Forces for paralyzing the movement of enemy vehicles. He stressed that now the invaders will have to wait a long time for reinforcements.

By the way, a video of a blown up bridge near Melitopol was published on the network. The video shows twisted metal, as well as a ripped path.
