Donetsk Shakhtar football player Yaroslav Rakitsky posted a video on his Instagram page with soldiers of the tank battalion of the 32nd Mechanized Brigade.
Rakitsky visited the military of the Ukrainian Armed Forces
The military in the video thanked the football player and one of the Kyiv restaurants for purchasing FPV drones and buses.
—Thank you so much for everything. For supporting our battalion. Glory to Ukraine! Glory to heroes! — says in the video.
Also on the restaurant’s Instagram story page there are several videos of the military with Rakitsky, some of which were also shared by the football player in his story.

The footage was captured in a forest area. One of the videos shows how Yaroslav rode with the military on a tank.
Under the footage of the video of gratitude from the military on Rakitsky’s page, there was a raid in the comments of Russians with vile marks, but the Ukrainians thank the football player for his position:

- Glory to Ukraine! Thank you for your civic position;
- The orcs are burning like their tanks;
- You did great!

In January of this year, ex-Dynamo football player Alexander Aliev shared photos with Rakitsky during a visit to the Donetsk region. The footage was taken near a shelled stele with the inscription Donetsk region near the road on the border of the region.
In one of the interviews, Rakitsky admitted that he would be very happy to return to the Ukrainian national football team. Regarding the national anthem, he noted that “in any case, I sing it and will sing it.”
In May 2023, Rakitsky commented on the Russian stage of his career at Zenit and spoke about the decision to leave the aggressor country after a full-scale attack on Ukraine.
