Putin's secret “allies” refused to play his games, he did not expect this – Ohryzko

Putin's secret

Putin hoped to tear the EU and NATO apart on internal differences in order to successfully take over Ukraine. However, the states he counted on did not support the Russian dictator.

This Channel 24 was told by Ukrainian Foreign Minister in 2007-2009 Volodymyr Ohryzko. According to him, Putin wanted to quarrel NATO and the EU, but he did not succeed. Now the entire West understands that Russia is a threat not only to neighboring states, but to the entire civilized world.

For Moscow, this is a complete disaster

According to Ohryzko, the current political situation in the world is truly unique. Many have taken off their “rose-colored glasses” and see Russia as a real threat.

Now the political situation is unique. When those countries that Putin counted on as his secret allies, in particular Germany and France, clearly and loudly say: “No, we will not play these games,” Ohryzko said.

It is hard to imagine if the German chancellor had stated conditionally 7 months ago that in less than a year the country would completely abandon Russian gas. Few would understand him. And now times have changed – and for Moscow this is a real disaster.

Putin is also especially worried about meetings in the Rammstein format. There, the West not only demonstrates greater unity, but also regularly provides Ukraine with important types of weapons to help destroy Russian invaders.

He is afraid of new weapons, because they are most effective. And most importantly, the Ukrainian military uses them better than the Americans and Europeans can imagine. Our heroes demonstrate how this newest weapon can be most effectively used,” Ohryzko emphasized.

Let's add, according to Vladimir Ohryzko, this winter is the last time Russia will be able to blackmail Europe with gas. They are trying to use it to the fullest, but the West has already accumulated almost enough energy resources to get through the winter.
