Putin is not ready to end the war without victory. And victory for Putin is the absorption of Ukraine.
So, the only option in which the war can end faster is pressure on Russia: on the battlefield, sanctions and isolation.
Battle for the Bill
With his actions, Paul is further prolonging the war and showing Putin that support for Ukraine has limits and they will soon come: “Congress is again trying to pass a spending bill – one that I doubt anyone has actually read – and there is no control over what how the money is spent”.
The bill has been available for analysis for several weeks now. Comrade Paul knew about this, but he only started talking about his concerns today.
The bill provides for an additional hundreds of millions of dollars for a structural unit that will deal with control.
But Comrade Paul wants it to be a separate inspector. The Senate was ready to make this compromise and immediately introduce an amendment to add an additional post of inspector to the project. But Paul insists that the bill be returned to the House of Representatives and introduced there.
What is the goal of the senator

Passing this bill increases the total amount we sent to Ukraine , to almost $54 billion in two months”.
No sympathy or approval
A few weeks ago, he said that Ukraine is part of Russia, and if the United States did not support the aspiration Ukraine to join NATO, then, perhaps, Putin would not have attacked.
The figure is also absolutely manipulative. Because about half of these funds will not be sent to Ukraine.
There is money to support NATO, and to fight hunger on the African continent, and much more: “This threatens our own national security, and this, frankly, is a slap in the face for millions of taxpayers who are trying to buy gas, food and find infant formula.”
Comrade Paul threatens national security when he carries letters from Trump to Putin, or tolerates Deripaska's generous investment in his Kentucky.
And about slap, gas, products and infant formula, Comrade Paul repeats the Kremlin’s narrative: Western voters’ high prices for fuel and food are not because Putin burst into Ukraine without any reason or reason of his choice, but because Western politicians allegedly support Ukraine.
The United States, the United Kingdom and the EU have been devoting a lot of energy for two months to combat this narrative and explain the truth to the population. At the same time, Comrade Paul is doing everything to make this narrative take hold and live on.
