Putin's nuclear threats: how Russian IPSO influence the West and what does Elon Musk have to do with it

by alex

When the Kremlin was overwhelmed by the realization of his loss in the war, Putin doubled down on his favorite techniques – blackmail, intimidation and misinformation. Stuff about the nuclear threat and nuclear strikes began to appear in the information space one after another, and pro-Russian narratives began to sound from the lips of influential people and publications in the West.

In his address to the Russians, where Putin announced mobilization, he made a separate emphasis on the fact that his nuclear threats are allegedly not a bluff, and Russia is ready to use nuclear weapons to “protect its sovereignty.”

And it would seem that even during the de-occupation of all Ukrainian territories, including Crimea, there is no threat to Russian sovereignty, because the conditional capture of Moscow is not in the plans of the Ukrainian command.

However, one should be aware that By sovereignty, Putin understands the existence of his own regime and the ability to do whatever he pleases in the world. This thesis, which sounds like “Russia is Putin,” was repeatedly hammered into the heads of Russians by propagandists and was separately voiced by the speaker of the State Duma of Russia, Vyacheslav Volodin.

It turns out that in the understanding of the Kremlin, if someone interferes with the will of the “tsar” , despite how criminal and cannibalistic his whims are, this is already a violation of the so-called sovereignty of Russia. And it is precisely these narratives that the Russians are trying to promote among Western politicians and the media, and they put it in their threats.

Against the backdrop of failed mobilization and an infinite number video of the chaos taking place in the Russian army, footage began to appear on the network, where Russia allegedly moves or deploys its nuclear arsenal and selects targets.

Immediately, an article appeared in the Italian newspaper La Repubblica that the Belgorod submarine, capable of carrying Poseidon nuclear torpedoes, departed from the Russian base for the exercise. Allegedly, Russia is preparing with underwater explosions to cause devastating tsunamis, which, as their propaganda previously claimed, could flood the British Isles. Subsequently, according to the same newspaper, the submarine disappeared from NATO radar altogether, which supposedly meant that Russia was preparing to use them.

Reports from the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine

Subsequently, this information was refuted by the NSDC Information Counteraction Center of Ukraine, calling it a fake. At the same time, one must understand that in the modern world, all nuclear weapons are in full view, and any movement of warheads would immediately become known to all Western intelligence agencies.

At the same time, none of the countries on which Russia supposedly should direct its nuclear strikes have activated additional defense systems, which also confirms that this is just another scarecrow of the Kremlin to sow panic in the world. However, Russia was counting on the excitement in Western society, and, unfortunately, they still managed to achieve this.

What is IPSO

These are the measures of the special services aimed at forming the necessary narrative in the context of an open or hidden conflict. The tools for this can be fakes, disinformation, inflating and promoting minor episodes, manipulations with interpretations, etc. IPSO is also a coordinated deployment in the information field of a certain scenario on a number of news, statements, events, expert comments. These are campaigns with regular repetition of theses, they can last a month or longer. To achieve the goal, IPSO have their own dynamics, repeatability. The enemy creates manipulative informational puzzles, in the expectation that when a person makes them himself, he will believe in the picture he has obtained, because he will be sure that he himself has come to the necessary conclusions.

Following the phantom submarine, videos and photos began to appear on the network, where Russia allegedly directs towards the line front so-called “nuclear train”. The network immediately began to scare that a whole column of equipment that is capable of carrying nuclear charges is moving through central Russia.

Photos from social networks flooded the network and sowed panic

Pay attention! The footage of the scary nuclear weapon heading towards Ukraine was distributed by pro-Russian telegram channels. The military equipment that Russia was transferring to the Ukrainian border even before the start of a full-scale invasion was mainly recorded by ordinary Russians who met these columns on the roads and railways of their cities. for the purpose of intimidation. While even if we assume that the trains are indeed heading towards Ukraine, it is far from a fact that it is precisely nuclear warheads that are being transported there.

It should also be mentioned that at the Russian parades on May 9, in the center of Moscow, repeatedly Russian missile systems “Yars”, designed to deliver nuclear warheads, passed by, but these were just exhibition pieces.

Separate and a very revealing story was the threats to Russia and a slight escalation on the Finnish border. When it became clear that Finland and Sweden would join NATO, the Russians immediately demonstratively moved troops and equipment to the Finnish border and activated aviation in the area.

Then also shots began to appear with columns of equipment and missile systems heading towards Finland. However, the Finns, with maximum composure, paid almost no attention to such saber-rattling. In addition, many photos and videos turned out to be fake or outdated.

In the end, the Kremlin admitted its impotence, saying that the alleged entry of these two countries into NATO does not contradict Russia's security at all. At the same time, it is security that Putin partially motivates his invasion of Ukraine, demanding disarmament and a neutral status for our country.

The scandalous statements of Elon were a real surprise for Ukrainians Mask on the status of Crimea and “peace” talks with the Kremlin. Against the background of the Ukrainian counter-offensive in the Kherson region and the apparent loss of Russia, Musk suddenly picked up the calls of Russians for negotiations, while directly promoting Russian narratives to his 100 million audience.

It is unlikely that somewhere else, except for Russian propaganda channels and Elon Musk's Twitter, one could hear about the so-called “Khrushchev's mistake”, that is, the transfer of Crimea to the Ukrainian SSR in 1954.

Subsequently, Musk went even further and began to promote the old sociology of the 2012 elections, which allegedly proves the pro-Russian nature of the eastern regions of Ukraine, because then in this part of Ukraine they voted for Yanukovych. Of course, the Kremlin admired Elon Musk's initiative and even noted his “merits” to Russia.

However, probably Musk just turned out to be a representative of that Western community, which was directly affected by the threats and the frank IPSO of the Kremlin. The American billionaire was banally afraid that his plans to colonize Mars could be destroyed by a nuclear war, which the Russian elite is constantly rattling about, and therefore all this should be “finished quickly”.

Important! At the same time, we should not forget that Elon Musk is a supporter of the isolationist policy of the American right. That is, full concentration on the domestic agenda and ignoring world problems. Isolationists literally believe that Europe is pulling money and resources from the US to solve its endless problems, and America can exist without these international conflicts. Kremlin embossing on the west side”>The Kremlin puts pressure on Western society

The Russian elite realized that it was no longer possible to intimidate the Ukrainians. All their stories about a nuclear strike, blowing up power plants or mobilization that will turn the tide of the war are completely not perceived by our society.

That is why Russia is struggling to switch its information strike to the West. Over the past week, articles began to appear in the leading Western media, the purpose of which is to defame the reputation of Ukraine.

The New York Times published an article claiming that the Americans were allegedly shocked by the murder of Daria Dugina in the Moscow region. Like, it was the work of the Ukrainian special services, which was immediately condemned by the allies. The purpose of this article is to show Western readers that the Ukrainian special services are sneaking into the Russian rear and killing civilians there.

At the same time, the issue of Taiwan begins to rise again in the vein that Ukraine is allegedly taking over a huge amount of American weapons, which the Taiwanese also need to defend against a Chinese invasion. And The main narrative of such articles is always that Ukraine is less important to American interests than Taiwan. That is why Kyiv should supposedly start negotiations with Putin, because the American military-industrial complex will not have enough capacity to work on two fronts at once.

Probably the biggest hysteria among Russians in recent times was Vladimir Zelensky's statement about a “preemptive strike” against Russia. Immediately after these words of the President of Ukraine, Russian officials and propaganda began to literally scream that Zelensky wants to destroy the world. And the allegedly huge nuclear arsenal is located somewhere near Berdichev, and is not controlled from Vladimir Putin’s bunker.

By the way, Presidential Press Secretary Sergei Nikiforov even had to explain that it was only about sanctions and military support. After all, it was precisely such a preemptive strike that Zelensky demanded from the West even before the start of a full-scale invasion.

And the President of Ukraine is absolutely right on this issue, because it is Russia’s military defeat that will hammer the final nail into the coffin of the Kremlin’s blackmail, threats and manipulations. And given how the Russian regime is clutching at life amid defeat at the front and whining about the need for negotiations, these are definitely not the kind of people who are ready to destroy the world for the sake of their non-existent ideology.
