Podolyak responded to Nancy Pelosi's position/Office of the President
The Office of the President responded to information about the position of the Speaker of the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi on recognizing Russia as a sponsor of terrorism. Such a position was called brilliant in Kyiv.
This statement was made by Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President Mikhail Podolyak. He stressed that Russia should be recognized as a terrorist country.
Putin will go down in history
Mikhail Podolyak stressed that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin would indeed go down in history. True, as a “great collector of lands”, which he wanted to become, but a terrorist.
The adviser to the head of the President's Office stressed that there can be no questions of “flexibility” when it comes to killing children and blackmailing by hunger, which Russia suits now.
The brilliant position of Nancy Pelosi: Russia is a terrorist country, and will be officially recognized as such. Putin dreamed of going down in history like Peter I. Now his name will be next to bin Laden,” Podolyak stressed.
Congress may include Russia in the list of countries sponsoring terrorism
According to American Media, Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi insists on recognizing Russia as a sponsor of terrorism. The authority to include Russia in the relevant list belongs to US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. During an informal conversation with him, according to journalists, Pelosi said that if the State Department does not do this, then Russia will be recognized as a sponsor of terrorism by a decision of Congress.
The reason for this position of Pelosi is that the powers of the State Department to determine countries sponsors of terrorism provided by Congress. Therefore, Congress can add countries to this list, although this will be a longer process.
It should be noted that North Korea, Cuba, Syria and Iran are currently on the list of countries sponsoring terrorism. Among these countries, we even see Russia's allies, which are not so many.
