Dictators usually profit from everything around them, and the people get only drops from it. Putin was no exception in such matters.

The Russian media reported that the dictator decided to give another one of his daughters a good place. She already holds the position of head of the Innopraktika Foundation, Channel 24 reports.

Now Ekaterina Tikhonova has also become a co-chair coordinating council for import substitution under the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.

The council was headed by the head of the RSPP, Alexander Shokhin.

Such a body was created to coordinate the activities of the RSPP on import substitution. They want to generalize supposedly successful practices of substitution of imported equipment. Moreover, there are even plans to create digital services to support import substitution and form relevant laws. It is not known how everyone is going to implement this under the conditions of sanctions. After all, until now, the Russians have not been able to create anything sensible on their own.

Tikhonov was offered the position in early July, but she has not yet agreed to it.

Sanctions against Russia and cordoning off Putin

  • Under sanctions Back in April, the United States got the daughters of Vladimir Putin, the wife and daughter of Sergei Lavrov, as well as members of the Security Council. In addition, Mikhail Mishustin and Dmitry Medvedev were subject to restrictions. Sanctions were also imposed on Sberbank and Alfa-Bank. The United States also imposed a ban on new investments in Russia.
  • The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine assumed that ordinary Russians would begin to feel the impact of sanctions only after a year. Sanctions are very important for a strategic war against the Russians. Therefore, they need to be implemented more rapidly and more.
  • Therefore, the sanctions pressure against Russia continues to increase. Soon, the aggressor state may stir up a new package of restrictions designed to continue to weaken it. This may be already the seventh package, or a continuation up to the sixth. In the seventh, a ban on Russian gas was to be introduced.
