The European Union has published a list of individuals and legal entities that were included in the 12th package of sanctions against Russia for assistance in the war against Ukraine. Listed — military, officials, defense enterprises, private military companies.
According to information on the EU website, the cousin of the Russian dictator, Anna Tsivileva, and the son of the deputy head of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev, Ilya, were subject to sanctions.
Tsivileva is associated with the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation, which actively participates in aggression against Ukraine. The EU also imposed sanctions on him.

Medvedev’s son was accused of organizing a disinformation propaganda campaign through the supervision of the Ya platform in Russia, which provides government services in the occupied parts of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.
On the sanctions list — TV channels Tsargrad, Spas and presenter Anna Shafran (Palyukh), who holds the position of head of the directorate of analytical radio programs of the Zvezda media holding.
Well-known PMCs fell under sanctions: St. Andrew's Cross, Torch and Potok, owned by Gazprom, Tsar's Wolves of Dmitry Rogozin, Convoy of the pseudo-head of the occupied Crimea Sergei Aksenov, Redut group of companies and heads of recruiting.
Restrictions were introduced against Russian telecommunications companies and workers in the occupied territories. Among them — MirTelecom, Krymtelecom, Miranda media. The general director of the last two media, Ivan Zima, also came under sanctions.
The EU added to the list the assistant commander of the OMON detachment Arsenal of the National Guard Andrei Frolenkov and the head of the Vityaz special forces center Alexander Beloglazov, who took an active part in the occupation of Bucha, Kyiv region.

Members of the Central Election Commission for organizing the illegal Osiya referendum during September 2022 also came under EU sanctions.
Among them — deputy head of the Central Election Commission Nikolai Bulaev, member of the Just Russia party Nikolai Levichev, dean of the Faculty of Political Science at Moscow State University Andrei Shutov and 13 other people, in particular, pseudo-heads of election commissions in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.
Head of the Moscow City Duma Alexey Shaposhnikov was included in the EU sanctions list for the first time. He is involved in material support for the Russian military and the development of bills that promote the war against Ukraine.
The European Union also added 86 companies and organizations to the sanctions lists against the Russian Federation. Among them — Spetsmash, Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant, Uraltransmash, Perm Powder Plant, Oboronlogistics, Rostekhkomplekt.
