Putin worries that increased cooperation between Russia and North Korea will disrupt sanctions circumvention schemes – ISW

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is likely concerned that increased Russian cooperation with North Korea could jeopardize existing sanctions evasion schemes.

This is reported by analysts at the US Institute for the Study of War ( ISW).

On September 14, Putin, at a meeting with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un at the Vostochny cosmodrome in the Amur region, said that Russia allegedly continues to observe restrictions on military-technical cooperation with North Korea, but noted that within current rules there are also some possibilities.
