“We are clasping hands with our friends and partners. We are giving aid so that your economy does not fall into decline. We are sending weapons to Ukraine, breaking the long-standing German tradition of not giving weapons to anyone,” Scholz said.

He added that 80,000 Ukrainians found refuge in Germany. There they were welcomed with hugs. According to the chancellor, his country will also help our state rebuild after the war.
