In general, the entire military parade, which Russia planned on May 9, seemed like a complete farce.
This parade in Russia were broadcast on all central TV channels. Considering the “love of Russians for television”, through which propaganda is conveyed to them, the infidels planned to show all this in Ukraine as well. We are talking about temporarily occupied territories.
But propagandists expected failure. According to the Ukrainian State Special Communications Service, “during the parade and the speech of the head of the aggressor country in the capital of the hostile state, broadcasting all Russian propaganda channels, the broadcast from the Russian satellite to the occupied Ukrainian regions was unexpectedly turned off.” What caused the shutdown of the broadcast is not specified.
Putin is not the first time “disappears” from the screens “live”
It is worth noting that this is not the first time such “surprises” have occurred with the broadcast of Putin's speeches. And even for Russian viewers. So, during a gala concert in Moscow, timed to coincide with the anniversary of the annexation of Crimea. Shameful parade in Russia
The Russian authorities and their propagandists did not expect that on May 9 there would be no special reasons to rejoice at them. A quick and victorious war against Ukraine failed. Now it is modern Russia that is compared with Nazi Germany.
Significant losses of equipment and manpower forced the Kremlin to significantly reduce its ambitions for the parade in Moscow. And in some Russian cities, the parade was held without military equipment at all. After all, 1145 tanks that could pass through the streets of these cities were destroyed in Ukraine. Here, the Ukrainian defenders also turned 2764 armored fighting vehicles into scrap metal.
It got to the point that in the cities that were Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Samara and Novosibirsk there was no air show in the sky. The official version is non-flying weather. Although at that time it was clear in Russia.
The Russians planned to hold Soviets in the occupied cities of Ukraine. And again failure. People were barely gathered in Kherson. And in Mariupol, almost completely destroyed by the occupiers, they finally decided to abandon this.
