Putin was asked four uncomfortable questions about the war with Ukraine/Channel 24 site collage
The war continues for the fourth month. Russia is suffering heavy losses: equipment is on fire, soldiers and even generals are dying.
The president's public guarantees have been violated: at least 600 conscripts ended up in the combat zone. The economy is bursting at the seams: there is real panic in the reports of the Ministry of Finance.
The future of Russia is going down the drain
However, Putin is sitting in his office with a bored look and mumbling the same thing: “The special operation is going along plan and in accordance with the approved schedule.
It feels like we're all being taken for fools here. What plan? This plan is more like a pipe into which our future flies.
Today I want to ask 4 questions to the President of Russia about the war with Ukraine, which seem to me important and require answers. I perfectly understand, of course, that he will not immediately run to report to me. But I consider it important that these questions be raised publicly and stimulate public discussion.
Four questions for Putin
- The first question I want to ask Putin is about human sacrifice. It is clear that any war is accompanied by losses. But the scale of these losses is publicly significant information. The Russian people have the right to know what price they are paying for the “special operation” announced by the president.
The last time the Ministry of Defense published data on losses was already on March 25th. Then we were told that 1,351 servicemen were killed and another 3,825 were injured in the battles on the territory of Ukraine. Since then, 2.5 months have passed. New data on losses were not published even once.
Why is this information hidden? This usually happens when the losses are too great, they are hushed up so as not to cause public protests.

- The second question concerns conscripts. President Putin has publicly promised several times that only contract soldiers who consciously make their choice will fight the Ukrainian army. The Kremlin allegedly does not intend to risk the lives of conscripts…
Even in March, the Ministry of Defense admitted that there were conscripts in the units sent to fight the Ukrainians, some of them were captured.
The attitude towards the parents of the dead military personnel is striking – instead of apologies and simple human sympathy, they receive frank rudeness of the threat.
My question, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, is very simple: are you ready to confirm that sailors and conscripts will not go to war in Ukraine? And what guarantees can you give to the Russian society? Your “honest word” alone is no longer enough.
- As a result of the war, Russia will inevitably become poorer. All hope is in gold and foreign exchange reserves, which have been put aside for a rainy day for years. But when that rainy day came, it turned out that half of these stocks were arrested as a result of Western sanctions and the government simply does not have access to them.
My (third – channel 24) question to the president: how should people survive in these conditions? Did Putin understand the terrible consequences of the so-called “special military operation” in Ukraine?
- The fourth question, that I would like to ask Putin personally, if I once had such an opportunity. You are no longer a young man, in October you will be 70 years old. Are you, a believer, not embarrassed and frightened by the blood on your hands? It is the Ministry of Defense that does not tell us about the death toll in Ukraine, but do you know the real statistics, do you really sleep at night?
Do you see bloody boys? We are all mortals, Vladimir Vladimirovich… The whole world sees that you are not afraid of a human court. It seems that you are sure that a suitcase with a nuclear button will protect you from the wrath of people and is a guarantee of your personal safety. But are you really not afraid of the wrath of the Almighty? Once before God, what will you say to him?
