Putin wants to undermine the world order: what levers of influence are there on the dictator Alexander Sadovaya

Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin can only be influenced from a position of strength. Ukraine does not have this opportunity now. In addition, many countries do not demonstrate strength against Russia either.

That is why Putin considers the West weak. This opinion was voiced to Channel 24 by the Chairman of the Board of the Institute of World Politics Viktor Shlynchak.

“So far, Ukraine is not given so many opportunities to demonstrate strength. In particular, now a lot of countries are also not demonstrating strength. Putin believes that the West is now weaker than ever. He is pulling out Fico, Orban, and some other people who can influence the collapse of this or that configuration,” he said.

What the world should do

Viktor Shlynchak noted that Vladimir Putin is trying to “be friends”, in particular, with Turkish leader Recep Erdogan, because Turkey is a member of NATO. He also maintains relations with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban and Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico.

Thus, Putin wants to destroy any system of checks, balances, and cooperation. The so-called head of the Kremlin is striving to destroy what has been built up over the years, on which the West has built security, the economy, international relations, and so on.

That is, Putin wants to undermine the world order. “By giving him a head start” in the economy and politics, Western politicians in this case work as Putin's agents. This is absolutely clear, – emphasized the chairman of the board of the Institute of World Politics.

The problem is that not everyone understands this. World leaders need to work to ensure that security mechanisms work like clockwork.
