Putin understands that things will get worse: what awaits Russia after Trump's arrival Alexandra Sadovaya

Vladimir Putin is hysterical. After all, after Donald Trump comes to the White House, things will only get worse for Russia. In particular, the newly elected US president will destroy Russia's economy.

Trump will do this not for Ukraine, but to protect US interests. Political scientist Taras Zagorodniy voiced this opinion to Channel 24.

“We are now seeing Putin's hysteria. He is trying to bargain for himself while Biden is still in charge. Because he understands that things will get much worse. Trump will destroy the economies of Russia and China. Not out of love for Ukraine, but to protect the interests of the United States,” he said.

Pressure on Russia

Taras Zagorodniy noted that Trump plans to influence the oil market. There will also be the issue of using weapons against Iran, this has been talked about for a long time. In fact, Russia, Iran and China will be under pressure.

Therefore, this trinity, which is actually accomplices in the war in Ukraine, directly helping Russia, will be under pressure from the Trump administration quite powerfully, starting almost from the first days of Trump's presidency. The Russians understand this perfectly well, he emphasized.

The Russians have a serious problem, because they wanted to drive the Ukrainian troops out of the Kursk region, but they are not succeeding. Now Ukraine has received permission to strike with Western long-range weapons, so driving the Ukrainian Armed Forces out of the Kursk region will be either very difficult or even impossible. Therefore, this puts Putin in a very awkward position.

“This will most likely cause a transition to the Pompeo plan. He talked about 500 billion lend-lease, lifting restrictions, Ukraine can take and do whatever it needs to protect its own territory,” the political scientist suggested.

Recall that former US Secretary of State under Trump, Mike Pompeo, believes that it is necessary to strengthen sanctions against Russia, provide Ukraine with a $500 billion lend-lease loan, and lift restrictions on the types of weapons and their use.
