Putin set up Xi Jinping: a conflict may break out between them Petro Sineoky

Cooperation between Russia and the DPRK could anger China. Dictator Vladimir Putin is literally setting up Chinese leader Xi Jinping with his actions.

Military expert Oleg Zhdanov told Channel 24 about this, noting that the DPRK troops in Ukraine directly contradict Xi Jinping's statements about de-escalating the “conflict”. He even said at the BRICS summit that escalation should not be allowed.

As Zhdanov noted, the most interesting thing is that literally some time later Russia ratified the cooperation agreement with the DPRK. There is also talk about military aid.

Putin has effectively set up Xi Jinping. The latter said at the summit in Kazan that the “conflict” should not go beyond Ukraine. And then, in just a few hours, the State Duma has already ratified a treaty that legitimizes the presence of North Korean troops on Russian territory, Zhdanov said.

Such a step already makes the war in Ukraine regional. In fact, two nuclear powers have groundlessly attacked a non-nuclear state.

It is obvious that the West will react to this. There is no need to expect NATO troops to be sent to Ukraine. But they may well increase military aid. It is worth adding South Korea here, which may directly supply weapons to Ukraine.

China could put Russia in its place with a few economic steps. But it is to their advantage to at least keep Russia afloat. The aggressor country has a huge amount of energy resources and a large arsenal of nuclear weapons, Zhdanov said.

Let us add that, according to military expert Roman Svitan, the transfer of DPRK troops to Russia could not have happened without China's consent. They know everything perfectly well and support these actions.
