Kremlin head Vladimir Putin warned that NATO member countries in Europe are “playing with fire” when they assume the likelihood of our state launching strikes with Western weapons on territory of Russia.

According to him, this could provoke a global conflict. The Russian dictator announced this on Tuesday, May 28, as reported by Reuters.

What the leader of the aggressor country said

It is noted that while Western countries are trying to decide what to do with the advance of Russian troops in Ukraine, Putin is increasingly talking about the risk of a larger conflict.

Continuous escalation can lead to serious consequences. If these serious consequences arise in Europe, how will the United States behave, taking into account our parity in the field of strategic weapons? It is difficult to say whether they want a global conflict?, the dictator told reporters in Tashkent.

According to the head of the Kremlin, Ukrainian strikes on Russia using long-range Western weapons will drag Western countries into war. In addition, Putin also added that the likely dispatch of French troops to Ukraine would be a step towards a global conflict.

Speaking of NATO members in Europe, Putin said that small countries “should be aware of what they are playing with” because they have a small territory and a very dense population.

“This is a factor they should keep in mind before talking about striking deep into Russian territory,” said the Russian dictator.

What they say in the Netherlands about Ukraine’s attacks on Russia: briefly

  • She noted , that Ukraine has the right to use all means for defense and restoration of territorial integrity.
  • Ollongren stated that her point of view, this should not be a subject of debate, and she hopes that “other countries that have a different position will change it.”
  • According to her, Ukraine is now fighting “with one hand tied behind its back.”
