Putin needs to block 2 “holidays”: what the dictator will talk about at the federal meeting on February 22

by alex

Vladimir Putin has scheduled another pointless speech at the federal assembly for February 22. The Russian dictator needs to close 2 “big holidays”.

Firstly, February 23 is a “holiday” for the Russian military, who can still celebrate it. About thisChannel 24said political scientist Nikolai Davydyuk.

Why Putin needs a speech on February 22

The political scientist suggested that the relatives of the Russian military in honor of such a “big holiday” organize a car rally Lada. “They can unite in a single column as a symbol of the strength of the Russian army,” said Davydyuk.

Recall, that the relatives of the occupiers who died in the war are buying up Lada cars of the domestic AvtoVAZ plant for “coffin” from the Russian authorities. Moreover, they did it so actively that a very “unpredictable” failure occurred in the car market of the aggressor country.

Secondly, February 24 is the anniversary of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The symbolism of Putin's speech on February 22 is that he needs a third “holiday” in order to somehow interrupt the previous two. In addition, according to the political scientist, on February 23-24, the Russian dictator may indeed launch a new attack on Ukraine.

But then again, all these stadium things in the style of Hitler no longer work,” Davidyuk noted.

According to him, this does not matter for Ukraine, since the Russian political propaganda machine has long since broken down. It does not work either outside or inside Russia. At the same time, Ukrainian defenders will continue to liberate the next settlements from Russian invaders and move towards the liberation of the entire state.

What to expect from Russia on February 24

In less than three weeks, a year has passed since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The head of the Kremlin strongly believes in the sacredness of dates and wants to achieve at least some results in the war against Ukraine before that time.

Political scientist from Germany Igor Eidman noted that the conviction that it is imperative to capture something for a certain holiday is reflection of the Soviet paradigm in the worldview of Russians. According to the political scientist, in the USSR it was always very important to report or achieve any success before a certain date.

This is also typical for the Russian dictator. However, so far this has not led to any positive result for him, and the reason for this, in particular, is haste.

“I hope that if Putin now follows the Soviet tradition and tries something on February 24, do something like that, it will be a gamble and it will not lead to anything good for the Russian army,” Eidman said.
