Painter about horror stories on May 9/Ministry of Defense of Ukraine
Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar said that for the Russian authorities, May 9 is the date on which they build their mythology about their alleged heroism.
According to Anna Malyar, the timing of certain actions, including military ones, to specific dates is a predictable tactic. She stated this in a joint telethon, Channel 24 reports.
The Deputy Minister of Defense said that Putin is pursuing a completely different tactic. He is trying to take actions that will make him unpredictable.
She gave an example when the Ukrainians thought that there would be no missiles in Transcarpathia and in general in Western Ukraine. However, they were not. There was also an assumption that they would not destroy civilian objects, but they do it.
Even the impressions of military objects, because there is also a difficult situation in terms of logic and expediency. Most likely, this is a plan that he (Putin – Channel 24) is unpredictable. This is an understandable tactic of warfare,” Anna Malyar explained.
“Why didn't we see anything on May 9? This can be seen from Putin's speech – there is simply nothing to say. In fact, the situation is complicated and has reached a dead end. It is obvious that they understand this well,” Maliar added.
What is known about the parade in Moscow on May 9
- On May 9, the traditional procession of the “Immortal Regiment” took place in Moscow. This year, with portraits of those killed in World War II, they carried photographs of Russian invaders who broke into Ukraine on February 24.
- The state that started a brutal war in Ukraine pulled the remnants of its equipment to the parade to demonstrate imaginary “power”. However, the aerial part of the parade was cancelled.
- Vladimir Putin delivered a speech at the military parade in Moscow on 9 May. His words are yet another flash of desperation. This was stated by the British Minister of Defense Ben Wallace.
- The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry commented that rapists and murderers were on the march in Russia. This is a propaganda show that has nothing to do with the victory in World War II.
