“Do you think he is worried about the fate of the Russians who are somewhere- then in the cold? If he wanted to give them some benefits, he would have built roads, installed gas, sewerage instead of spending billions on war,” Tiesenhausen noted.

In addition, the Russian dictator is sending thousands of his citizens to their deaths in Ukraine. One thing is important to Putin – to solve a personal, imperial issue, and he will try to do this to the end at the cost of his own population.

What will attacks on the Russian energy sector lead to?

“I think this will really happen for Russia a very serious problem. They were simply given to understand: if you twitch, you will sit without light, heat and water,” Tiesenhausen explained.

Since the energy infrastructure in Russia dates back to Soviet times, it will be very difficult to find all the necessary components for repairs. And given the significant extent of the aggressor country, it is almost impossible to hide all objects with air defense.

The Kursk region found itself without electricity: the main thing

• On the night of September 29, an unknown drone dropped two explosives at a substation in the Kursk region. As a result, five settlements were cut off.
• Subsequently it became known that the blackout in the Kursk region was the result of a successful special operation by the SBU. Important enemy military facilities were connected to the affected substation.
• By the way, this is not the first blackout in Russia as a result of a Ukrainian attack. On September 26, an SBU drone blackouted seven settlements in the Kursk region.
