Putin increases the number of Russian armed forces to 2.4 million: what does this indicate? Angela Figin

Vladimir Putin ordered an increase in the regular number of the Russian armed forces to 2.4 million, including 1.5 million military personnel. The dictator wants to make the Russian army the second largest in the world.

On air on Channel 24, military-political observer of the Information Resistance group Alexander Kovalenko explained why the Kremlin is increasing the size of its armed forces and what this actually indicates.

What the Ukrainian Armed Forces need to prepare for

In general, this suggests that Russia intends to fight with human resources in the future. This confirms the fact that the aggressor country is running out of equipment.

The Russians are running out of mechanized components, in particular main battle tanks and combat armored vehicles, and they are trying to replace them with human resources, Kovalenko said.

That is, a company of 80-100 soldiers is needed by Russia to advance 100 meters. Accordingly, in order to advance a kilometer deep into Ukrainian territory in one direction, the occupiers will need approximately 1,000 destroyed Russian soldiers.

Then the occupiers must form flanks primarily along highways or railways. Consequently, the square meters along the flanks begin to count, and this is also a loss of human resources. Therefore, in the near future, Russia will fight with human resources; they will not have enough equipment for this, the military-political observer noted.

According to him, 2025 will be indicative of how many assaults will be carried out by the human component and what amount of mechanized component will be during these assaults.

Please note! British intelligence believes that Putin's desire to increase the army will be hampered by the heavy losses that continue in the war against Ukraine and problems with recruiting personnel.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine must prepare to counter a large amount of this “meat”, and this is the use of both passive elements, in in particular, fortifications that will slow down the advance of infantry, as well as active ones – combat units of cluster-type weapons, FPV drones, and the like.
