However, the war does have a tendency to end. The way they started talking with different words and intonations, with varying degrees of persuasiveness about the inevitable negotiations indicates a turn in this direction.

Several months ago, there was no talk of negotiations. Both sides made it clear that they would have a war to a victorious end. However, now, without losing face, these same two sides are saying that they need to negotiate.

Putin needs negotiations first and foremost, because he is in a stalemate and it is unclear what to do next. The dictator is forced to make reforms. It is no accident that he is destroying the Ministry of Defense and installing a new person, Aslanyan said.

According to him, the Russian president inevitably wants a truce, but not to stop the war. Putin in no way means that the war will end and that a period will be put.

At the same time, Putin's assistant, former Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolai Patrushev, spoke about the negotiations. According to him, the statement by Ukraine and the West about the negotiations are tactical tricks. In his opinion, it is being used for a respite, since Russia has advantages in the war. However, Ukraine allegedly does not take any real steps towards negotiations.
