Pro-Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin hopes the world will forget about the Russian Federation's full-scale war against Ukraine and get used to these terrible events. However, Germany stated that this would not be allowed.
German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier announced this during a speech at the German-Ukrainian municipal partnership conference in Leipzig. In his opinion, Ukraine needs the most support now.
“Putin’s calculation is that the world should forget about Ukraine. Germany will not provide the Russian president with such a service,” Steinmeier noted.
According to him, Germany will not get used to Russia’s illegal and inhumane aggressive war. He noted that Ukraine especially needs support when the conflict in the Middle East began.

According to Steinmeier, the war in Ukraine no longer receives the attention it deserves from the world. He is convinced that the threat from the Kremlin regime now looms even over neighboring countries.
