There has been a disaster in Kazakhstan – an Embraer 190 has crashed. There are suspicions that Russia, in particular the Chechen forces of Ramzan Kadyrov, are involved. Probably, Russian air defense shot down the aircraft with passengers.

There is an assumption that it was the Chechen air defense forces that shot down the Embraer 190, which was flying from Baku to Grozny. Political scientist and sociologist from Germany Igor Eidman told Channel 24 that there will be no consequences for Kadyrov if this is confirmed.

Kadyrov's Power in Russia

Igor Eidman noted that Ramzan Kadyrov has gotten away with a lot of terrible crimes, so his involvement in the downing of the plane in Kazakhstan will probably not be an exception.

Kadyrov can do anything, as long as it does not concern Vladimir Putin. The dictator forgives him a lot, but the interests of his own wallet are more important to him, the political scientist emphasized.

In his opinion, the situation is rather unclear, because it is unknown how the confrontation between Kadyrov and the security forces will develop. They may try to remove him from power, given the news of the plane crash.

Important! Political scientist Maxim Nesvitaylov believes that the position of the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov may be shaken due to the shooting down of the Azerbaijani plane. This situation may force him to make concessions to Azerbaijan, which will seriously affect his political status.

Eidman believes that the only allies of the Chechen leader are the Russian Guard, and all other security forces are his sworn enemies. Therefore, everything depends on Putin, who has the final say regarding Kadyrov's fate.
