Putin discussed the use of tactical nuclear weapons in the bunker/Channel 24 Collage
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin continues to threaten the use of nuclear weapons to intimidate not only Ukraine, but the whole world.
The use of tactical nuclear weapons will not provide any military fact. Andrey Piontkovsky, a Russian publicist, told Channel 24 about this.
He noted that for its use it is still necessary that several dozen Russian senior military personnel take part in this.
However, they understand the answer. They understand that it will affect them. The Americans explained this very clearly,” Piontkovsky said.
“In order to carry out a senseless and suicidal military action for Russia, namely, to destroy one Ukrainian city with nuclear weapons, several dozens of people need to be actively involved. It is unlikely that Putin will use tactical nuclear weapons,” the Russian publicist explained.
However, I remembered the words of the editor-in-chief of the radio station ” Ekho Moskvy” Alexei Venediktov, who said that during the defense of Kherson, Putin would be ready to use tactical nuclear weapons. So, there was a discussion about this option in the bunker.
I know Venediktov, I know them. He wouldn't have thought of it if he hadn't heard it. So, they have such conversations. Or spent the last month in a bunker that characterizes a sufficient level of insanity, – Andrey Piontkovsky explained.
“If it depended on one Putin, where he could press some button in his toilet and destroy one Ukrainian city, he certainly would have done it. But technically it is much more difficult,” Piontkovsky added.
