Russian dictator Vladimir Putin cannot win the war against Ukraine, but he cannot find a way out of it, says UK Defense Minister Grant Shapps.

According to the minister, Putin wanted to capture Kiev by “bluff”, but the people of Ukraine will not allow this to happen.

Shapps also added that war consumes weapons and men “at a terrible rate,” but “we must remain steadfast.”
In his speech, the official also calls Ukraine “part of the family of European democratic nations.”
The Telegraph previously reported that British Defense Secretary Grant Shapps suggested that British troops could train Ukrainian military in Ukraine.
Later, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak assured that there are no plans to send British instructors to Ukraine to train the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
