Kuleba on promises not to use trade routes to attack Odessa/Channel 24 collage
Dmitry Kuleba stressed that one should not believe in Putin's promises not to use trade routes to attack Odessa. The head of the aggressor state always lies.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs noted that Putin's words are empty. Now he says that he allegedly will not use trade routes to attack Odessa.
However, Kuleba recalled that this is the same Putin who told German Chancellor Scholz and French President Macron that he would not attack Ukraine a few days before the start of a full-scale invasion of our country.
Warranties required
Ukraine is ready to create the necessary conditions for the resumption of exports from the port of Odessa. However, the diplomat has previously noted that there are no guarantees from the Russian side on this issue. The occupiers can take advantage and attack Odessa.
Russian propagandists lie that their warships will guarantee the safety of the trade route when Ukraine opens it. However, this is yet another manipulation by the aggressor state.
We cannot agree to close our eyes and unblock everything, because Russia cannot be trusted,” the minister stressed.
< p>Therefore, warranties are required from a third party. The military presence of countries ready to take part in such an operation is necessary. According to Kuleba, it would be ideal if the process were held under the auspices of the UN.
Russia blocks Ukrainian ports and steals grain
- Russia has already managed to steal 500,000 tons of Ukrainian wheat from the temporarily occupied regions.
- The invaders are exporting grain from the occupied territories of Kharkiv region, Donetsk region, Lugansk region, Zaporozhye and Kherson region. It is sent to the occupied Crimea, and from there they try to take it to other countries.
- In particular, Russia tried to sell the stolen grain to Egypt. However, they refused, because no one wants to buy stolen goods. After that, the looters' ship changed direction to Lebanon and Syria.
- Since the Ukrainian ports are blocked by the occupiers, the lion's share of the grain remains there. Ukraine is a major exporter of the product, so the world is facing a food crisis. Countries in Africa and Asia may suffer from famine. 400 million people depend on the supply of Ukrainian grain.
