Published a map of Transcarpathia in the colors of the Hungarian flag: a case was opened against the deputy

Law enforcement officers opened criminal proceedings against a deputy of the regional council of Transcarpathia. Actually, official Judyta Petei published a map of the Ukrainian region in the colors of the Hungarian flag on her social networks.

Back at the end of January, a scandalous post by Judyta Petea appeared on the net, depicting Transcarpathia in the colors of the Hungarian flag. The fact that the Office of the Prosecutor General opened proceedings against her was announced by MP Solomiya Bobrovskaya on Saturday, February 11.

The SBU also took up the case

< p> We note that Bobrovskaya is a member of the committee on national security and defense. She noted that the case against Petya will be investigated by the Security Service of our state, and this is the right step.

We turned a blind eye to such things on the part of the Russians for too long, and we have an example of how it ended. We must learn our lessons,” she wrote.

In addition, Bobrovskaya published a photo of the response of the Prosecutor General’s office to her deputy appeal, asking a rhetorical question about what the outcome of the investigation would be.

Pay attention! The Judiths of Petei are accused of financing actions that could lead to the overthrow of the constitutional order or the seizure of state power. This is part 2 of article 110 of the Criminal Code. If the guilt of the official is proved, she can be punished with imprisonment for a term of 5 to 7 years with confiscation of property. However, she will not be able to hold positions or engage in certain activities for up to 2 years.

Other details: what party does the official represent

  • Note that Petei is a member of the “Society of Hungarian Culture of Transcarpathia” (party “KMKS”). Many people call this organization downright “pro-Orban”, because it defends the interests not of Ukraine or even of Hungary, but of the current Prime Minister of the neighboring country, Viktor Orban.
  • By the way, recently President Volodymyr Zelensky invited the politician to Ukraine. At the same time, Vladimir Fesenko is convinced that Orban and Putin have much in common.
  • Obviously, the head of our state intends to change the political consciousness of the Hungarian head of government. Although the arrival of the prime minister in Ukraine is very unlikely.
