Reintegration Minister Irina Vereshchuk, during an interview with the Dutch media, addressed the country's Prime Minister Mark Rutte and other European leaders. She called for providing Ukraine with air defense assets.
Irina Vereshchuk stressed that support for economic sanctions is insufficient. The minister said that if Europe provides Ukraine with air defense systems, then our country can end the war in the near future.
Vereshchuk said that she was confident in the leadership qualities of Mark Rutte, so she turned to him and to the leaders of other European states with a call to provide air defense to Ukraine. The minister stressed that otherwise the scale of the war could increase significantly.
We need anti-missile weapons. If we receive it, then we will receive the world after some time. If this does not happen, then we will get conflict throughout Europe and it will be the responsibility of the likes of Mr. Rutte, Mr. Johnson and all other leaders who stopped a step before such a decisive moment, Vereshchuk said.
