They said that after finishing his studies at Cambridge, Philip said that he wanted to build a career in the British army, but later admitted that he went to Ukraine.

— He was very proud of helping people. He always talked about it when he called us. In the first letter he wrote to us after he went to Ukraine, he apologized for telling us a lie for the first time in his life, — said Marcin Antosiak.

According to the father of the deceased volunteer, this is very difficult for them, but they are proud of their own son.
